Henri de Richet was a winemaker in Marseillan. He was also involved in maritime trade. He made his fortune in the wine trade and gave his name to Les Caves Richemer.
Located in Agde and Marseillan, in the Hérault département, the vines, cellars and vaults of Les Caves Richemer are at the heart of a discovery and gastronomy network which takes full advantage of its proximity to the Mediterranean, the Étang de Thau, the Canal du Midi, the wetlands of the Bagnas nature reserve and the holiday resorts of Cap d'Agde and Marseillan.
Les Caves Richemer have as their symbol a seahorse: this reflects an ongoing commitment to conserve local resources. The wines showcase local heritage with a pledge to the visitor: Your stopover between Land & Sea.
Two 'Gourmands en Occitanie' guides are your points of contact. Trained by Tourisme Gourmand en Occitanie, an organisation of which Les Caves Richemer is a member, Emmanuelle and Maxime produce quotations, welcome guests and guide groups.
Feel free to contact them to request a tailor-made package. The suggestions below provide a taste of what's on offer
A proud holder of the Vignobles et Découvertes and Qualité Tourisme / Sud de France, the Marseillan-Plage site is now becoming the hub of the discovery and gastronomy network for Your stopover between Land and Sea.
